"Bluestar, it's me," called Silverpelt in front of the leader's den. Looking over her shoulder, she realized that some of the stars had already appeared in the sky. The night was slowly taking over the heavens, and so, taking over her. She could feel the exhaustion slowly crawling up her legs. Soon, she'd fall asleep and leave flesh and bone behind.
"Come in," Bluestar answered, snapping the she-cat out of her thoughts.
